PREACHING IN PRISONS OF RUSSIA “…This Prison has never had any Christian ministry of any
kind. Today, most of the inmates will be hearing about God’s love
for them in Christ for the first time!
Our Russian manager, Sergei Nekrasov, told me this as we arrived at
a large prison near Orel , Russia . On this, my fifth trip to Russia
, I worked again with Revival Fires World Missions of Branson, MO. I
had served with Charles Todd and Revival fires on previous trips to
Russia , Kyrgizstan, Siberia and China .
…After a guided tour of the facility and a good Russian lunch with
the warden and the officers, we went to the meeting room to conduct
our first service in a Russian prison. Every seat in the room was
taken and several inmates were crowded into the hall and doorway.
The warden and his staff were in the front row and other officers
were in the audience.
Ron sang some good songs and gave his testimony. Then I, with the
help of Sasha, presented the beautiful, clear gospel. I emphasized
that regardless of their past, God loved them and wanted them to be
in heaven with Him. …
Praise God, all inmates there, at least 200, stood and prayed
publicly with me to trust in Christ. …All glory to Jesus!…”

MISSIONARY CRUISE ON RUSSIAN WATERWAYS
“What a joy it was to work with you in Russia last month. I brought
back some wonderful memories.
…I love the Russians and their openness. I appreciated their
acceptance of the Americans…. I was “stretched” beyond my
imagination. I know I will not take another mission trip without my
puppets….”

FIRST MISSION TRIP TO CHINA
“…I remember how touched I was to actually be in China on a mission
trip, singing, praying and praising God with these loving Chinese
brothers and sisters. Thinking back wouldn’t my Christian
grandmother be pleased that a grandson would be spreading the gospel
into China ….”

CHINA – THE GREATEST END-TIME HARVEST OF ALL!
…“What is the purpose of my trip” I kept asking the Father. He
replied, “Sheilagh, please don’t ask me again. The plan is too big
for you to understand at this time – simply go, trust and obey.:
…Mindful not to attempt to “measure our success” we formed our small
teams and went about various churches conducting services in the
morning, afternoon and sometimes an evening service. Each meeting
was different, but clearly God was in control. On our team, one
ministered the gifts of healing. Another had a puppet song-ministry
that gave a powerful message to the Chinese people, though love
visuals that explained spiritual truths. Other gospel teams returned
with joy at the reception the felt from the Chinese people.
…Our little team of six led about 300 souls to Christ on this trip…”

WE HAVE SHOUTED HIS NAME IN SIBERIA
“…We worked with the Baptist Church in Krasnoyarsk , an unusual
church. It was built in 1997 and looks like a Rusian Orthodox church
called The House of Prayer. Approximately 800 attended the later
service at 11:00 a.m. that Sunday morning. …The countryside was
beautiful. Birch trees everywhere and mountains on all sides. 43
young people were saved. The pastor said about 25 teens made a first
time commitment to the Lord.
…We were allowed to go into the General Hospital . Regina Deraps had
a wonderful testimony of how the lord delivered her from drugs and
alcohol. Drugs and alcohol are widespread in Russia . In the
hospital they received hope,…many received Jesus as Savior….”

MINISTERING IN MUSLIM KYRGIZSTAN
“It is hard to believe that almost month ago, the For His Glory team
was getting ready to leave for Kyrgizstan. We have since been to the
other side of the world and back, returning with praise on our lips,
hearts and minds filled with images of people hungry for the gospel
and the Word of God. It was a privilege to lead such a wonderful
team of women under the efficient direction of Revival Fires World
missions and its team of qualified interpreters….”

TAKING CHRISTMAS TO RUSSIAN ORPHANS
“….that afternoon we visited an orphanage - 89 (6 – 15-years old).
…I had a large red/green frog which I used to say “Jesus is free
(salvation)” just as I gave the frog free to one of the children. I
also presented a picture story “God Made You”.
…Altogether, we passed out 317 Children’s Bibles and 4000 New
Testaments. We were asked for our Santa hats. We gave them. Gave out
800 – 1000 gifts at orphanages and hospitals….
